Dead Heart's

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah

While thousands of Muslims are killed all over the world, and while tens of thousands are imprisoned and tortured for calling to the path of Allah and for enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, most Muslims remain remarkably silent and have no worry except for the material things of life. Their hearts have been filled with the love of this life and the forgetfulness of the Hereafter.
Allah says in the Qur'an: "You will indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life, even more than those who do not believe in Resurrection. Each one of them wishes he could be given a life of a thousand years. But the grant of such life will not save him even a little from due punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do" (Al Baqarah, 2:96). Many Muslims today have become so much attached to their life that their desire is to dwell among their family, house, money and commerce. They have forgotten that matters of the Hereafter should come before matters of this life and that we must strive to follow the orders of Allah, not just those we find easy and convenient to follow. Some Muslims today claim that it is better to perform extra prayers and extra fasting rather than enjoin the good and forbid the evil or defend the lives of weak Muslims. Such people would even blame the Muslims who strive to perform these obligations.
This is what Ibn al-Qayyim had to say about such people: ''The Shaitan has misled most people by beautifying for them the performance of certain voluntary acts of worship such as voluntary prayers and voluntary fasting while neglecting other obligatory acts of worship such as enjoining the good and eradicating the evil, to the extent that they do not even make the intention of performing them whenever they are able to. Such people are considered by the scholars to be on the bottom of the scale of religion: For the essence of our religion is to perform what Allah ordered us to do. The one who does not perform his obligations is actually worse than the one who performs sins. Anyone having some knowledge about the revelation of Allah, the guidance of the Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, and the life of the companions would conclude that those who are pointed at today as the most pious people are in fact the least pious. Indeed, what kind of piety is there in a person who witnesses Allah's sanctities being violated, his religion abandoned, the Sunnah of His Messenger shunned, and yet remains still with a cold heart and a shut mouth' Such a person is like a dumb Shaitan! In the same way the one who talks falsehood is a speaking Shaitan. Isn't the misfortune of Islam due only to those who whenever their life and food are secure, would not care about what happens to the religion? The best among them would offer a sorry face. But if they were challenged in one of the things their heart is attached to like their money, they would spare no efforts to get it back. These people, besides deserving the anger of Allah, are afflicted with the greatest calamity without even knowing it: They have a dead heart. Indeed the more alive a person's heart is, the stronger its anger for the sake of Allah and the more complete his support to Islam and Muslims." (A'alaam al-Muwaqqi'een, volume 2, page 176).

BE UNITED OH UMMAH !! Condemn "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day - May 20"

All praises to Allah  and may peace and blessings of Allah be upon our beloved prophet Muhammed the  mercy to mankind.

Our noble prophet has been again targeted and Islaam aimed for ridicule and mockery.Again Islaam is in focus. Its amazing, the more humans try to mock at Islaam, the more its being made famous.People are becoming more interested to learn about Islaam. Thanks to you Kafirs and Enemies of Islaam. You and your ridiculous plans are every time sparking up interest for Islaam. This is the Creators wisdom. They accept Islaam or attack it, its becoming very popular. As a result mankind is being enlightened about its reality and beauty.

THEIR PLAN IS THIS:
(Everybody Draw Mohammed Day is a protest against Islamists who threaten violence against individuals that attempt to depict Muhammad. It originally began as a protest against censorship of South Park episode "201" by Comedy Central in response to death threats from radical Islamists. It started with a drawing posted on the Internet on April 20, 2010, suggesting everybody create a drawing representing Muhammad, a prophet of Islam, on May 20, 2010, as a protest against Islamist efforts to limit freedom of speech.
U.S. cartoonist Molly Norris of Seattle, Washington, created the artwork in reaction to Internet death threats that had been made against cartoonists Trey Parker and Matt Stone for depicting Muhammad in an episode of South Park. Depictions of Muhammad are explicitly forbidden by a few hadith (Islamic texts), though not by the Qur'an.[1] Postings on RevolutionMuslim.com had said that Parker and Stone could wind up like Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was brutally murdered and mutilated by a Muslim extremist. The individuals running the website later denied that the postings were actual threats, although they were widely perceived as such.)

 RESPONSE OF THE UMMAH:
"When you attack black people, they call it racism. When you attack Jewish people, they call it anti-Semetism. When you attack women, they call it sexism. When you attack homosexuality, they call it intolerance. When you attack your country, they call it treason. When you attack a religious sect, they call it hate speech. But when you attack the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), they want to call it freedom of speech?"by HABIBI HALAQAS.
Who are these people who attack Islaam? What is the power behind them? Its the illusive, deceptive power of Satan. He has vowed to take with him the maximum mankind to Hell-fire.Shaitan knows he is weak. His God given power is only for this world. Not an atom can move without Allah's will.Mankind rebels against the Creator. But he does not care to know that," The body which he owns, the heart which keeps him alive, the earth on which he steps his foot are all made by this All powerful God.
Allah Azzawajal says,
"And when We let mankind taste mercy after some adversity has afflicted them, behold! they take to plotting against Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)! Say: "Allâh is more Swift in planning!" Certainly, Our Messengers (angels) record all of that which you plot.He it is Who enables you to travel through land and sea, till when you are in the ships and they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they are glad therein, then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think that they are encircled therein, Then they invoke Allâh, making their Faith pure for Him Alone, (saying): "If You (Allâh) deliver us from this, we shall truly be of the grateful."
"But when He delivers them, behold! they rebel (disobey Allâh) in the earth wrongfully. O mankind! Your rebellion (disobedience to Allâh) is only against your ownselves, - a brief enjoyment of this worldly life, then (in the end) unto Us is your return, and We shall inform you that which you used to do."{Surah Yunus:ayah 21,22,23}
These type of controversies are sent by Allah through the nonbelievers.
1.It helps the entire ummah to stand united and resist. It strengthens the believers potential.
2.It sifts the believers from hypocrites.
3.It acts as a test from Allah to earn lots of reward.
4.It sparks interest among people to study about Islaam.
Its also amazing that the nonmuslims and hypocrites always target Islaam as if there is nothing worth for abuse than the deen of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. This is a blessing from Allah in disguise.Allah never creates anything pure evil.It has a good in it.What good will be done by boycotting face book,or any of the available media. We withdraw ourselves,we stop Islaamic pages,it will only make our enemies strong. Its the  pride of a Muslim to fight the enemy.Donot leave the battle field and run away.Be there resist and Allah surely will give victory.Insults and Abuses will never cease against Islaam but we need to carry on our duty of resistance and dawa'ah, educating the masses about Islaam.Have patience.Neglect abusive messages from brothers of Satan instead focus on spreading Islaam .There are millions hungry for Allah's guidance who are oppressed and tired of their evil societies and governments.Donot reply and waste time in engaging in abuses. It will simply waste time.Just ignore!!And block such brainwashed devil.
Example of one who insults Muhammad Peace be upon him is like the one who grabs a handful of sand and throws it towards the sun in the noon above the head, finally letting the sand fall on him.
Awake!Awake!Mankind before your death holds you tight.
Donot destroy your ownself.Donot be tricked by your enemy.Your
insults to Islaam cannot harm it because It is the way of the ONE
WHO IS THE very reason of your being here in this world. He has
sent it to prevail over all the manmade ways of life. And the world
will surely witness its triumph.
Know about the man who is the centre of attack

That’s Not Hijab!

Thats not Hijab!

Hijab is not a piece of cloth on our head. It’s a way of life.
These days we see some of our sisters cover their head in the name of Hijaab and they think that the requirement of Hijaab is fulfilled. But they fail to realize that wearing a Hijaab requires much more than just covering the head. In fact, if you think about it, you will realize that its the way we talk, the way we walk, the way we carry ourselves. Hijaab is an attitude in itself indeed. It’s the whole way of life.
Allah says in An-Nur (Light), Surah 24:31: “And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband’s fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.”
Let’s discuss some of the common issues faced in the light of this verse about the Hijaab.
I am covering my head, what else you want me to do?
Well, if you look carefully at the ayah, it clearly states that the head covers (khumur) should be drawn over the neck slits (juyoob). Khumur is the plural of the Arabic word “khimar” which means a headcover. Juyoob is the plural of the Arabic word “jaiyb”, which refers to the neck slit (of the dress).
Still, we see that some of our sisters only cover their head with something, and they think that they are fulfilling the rights of Hijaab, even though part of their hair or body is showing. In fact their whole neck and chest area are exposed. This was actually the way of the women of Jahilliyah.
Al-Qurtubi said: “Women in those days used to cover their heads with the khimar, throwing its ends upon their backs. This left the neck and the upper part of the chest bare, along with the ears. Then Allah commanded them to cover those parts with the khimar.”
So wrap the scarf well around the face which covers the whole neck and the chest area and please keep those half sleeves and capri pants for your Mahrams.
Ah ah!! Keep those tight jeans and short shirts aside please
If you want to wear a tight jeans and a cool short shirt with a piece of cloth on your head and think that this is Hijaab then you are highly mistaken. Nor can you wear anything else that is tight and describes the whole shape of your body in whatever way, even if it is long it is not permissible.
The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “In later (generations) of my ummah there will be women who will be dressed but naked. On top of their heads (what looks) like camel humps. They will not enter into paradise or (even) get a smell of it.” (Muslim)
If it is transparent, its NOT Hijaab
We cannot use chiffon or any other material that is transparent to cover our hair and body. every part of the body must be covered and the color of the skin underneath should not be visible.
The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) once received a thick garment as a gift. He gave it to Osamah b. Zayd, who in turn gave it to his wife. When asked by the Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) why he did not wear it, Osamah indicated that he gave it to his wife. The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) then said to Osamah “ask her to use a “gholalah” under it (the garment) for I fear that it (the garment) may describe the size of her bones.” (Ahmad, Abi-Dawood)
(The word gholalah in Arabic means a thick fabric worn under the dress to prevent it from describing the shape of the body).
No heads should turn to see the Hijaab you are wearing
Your Hijaab should not attract any attention. The dress should not be such that it attracts men’s attention to the woman’s beauty. Allah SWT clearly mentions “not to display their beauty (zeenah).” Yet, SubhanAllaah, some Hijaabi sisters are dressed in such a way that they attract more attention to themselves than they would if they didn’t wear Hijaab. How can the purpose of Hijaab be accomplished if the dress is designed in such a way that it attracts men’s eyes towards the woman? It beats the whole point of wearing Hijaab.
Allah says in Al-Ahzaab Surah 33:33: “And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance……”
What difference does it make if I wear little make-up and perfume!!!
Well, it does make a lot of difference. Wearing makeup is also part of zeenah which Allah orders us NOT to display. So if your head and body is properly covered and yet you are wearing a bright lipstick with dark eyeliner so that people confuse between you and a raccoon then that’s not Hijaab. And keep those nice fragrances to be used at home between you and your husband. That’s part of Hijaab too, even if you are going to the Masjid.
The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “Any woman who puts on perfume and passes by people so that they can smell her fragrance, is an adulteress.” (al-Nasaa’i, Tirmidhi: hasan by Albaani)
Tinkling Jewelry and Jingling bracelets
Any kind of loud and tinkling piece such as jewelry, bracelets, clip-clopping shoes, little bells on clothes, anything that jingles or makes noise is against the principles of Hijaab. Why? Its simple because it attracts attention to the one wearing it. That is what is meant when Allaah orders us in the above verse…“not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments.”
He is just a friend!! What if I talk a little
No joking, laughing or hanging out with any of the non-Mahrams. Some sisters believe that it is okay for them to sit around talk, laugh, joke, etc with any of the non-Mahram brothers if they are properly covered. But that is not right, even if that person is ‘the Shaikh’.
Allah says in Al-Ahzaab Surah 33:32: “…..then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire, but speak in an honorable manner.”
So whenever you speak with a non-Mahram talk to them when there is a specific need and in a manner that is not necessarily rude, yet is polite and firm.
I wasn’t staring I was just checking him out
This is NOT Hijaab. Staring or gazing at the brothers or simply checking them out is also not a part of Hijaab. Allah has commanded us to “lower your gaze” in the above verse. Why? Because a single look can say more than a million words. Even though you are properly covered make sure that you keep those eyes down and conduct yourself with ‘Hayaa’, and avoid ‘fitnah’.
Chatting on the internet or over the phone is not a part of Hijaab
There is no concept of friendship between a guy and a gal. Talking to non-Mahrams is wrong even if it is through internet or phone. There are too many stories of illegal relationships, fornications, broken homes, extra-marital affairs and runaway brides to even mention. That is the basic reason why in Islam anything that leads to haraam is also haraam.
Allah says in Al-Isra Surah 17:32: “Do not (even) come close to fornication, for it is an indecency, and its way is evil.”
Don’t walk as if you are walking on the ramp
Remember you are not a model displaying the latest fashion in town. Walk with modesty and hayaa and you will be respected. The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are two types of the people of Hell that I have not seen yet….women who are clothed yet naked, walking with an enticing gait…..” (Muslim).
No shaking hands with non-Mahram
It is not permissible to shake hands with any non-Mahram as the Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than to touch a woman who is not permissible for him.” (at-Tabaraani saheeh by al-Albaani).
Don’t think that it will be rude to refuse to shake hands with non-Muslims. Simply say that it’s a part of your religion and they are very understanding.
Stay away from men’s areas
Most of the time we encounter that the sisters enter the Masjid through the men’s entrance or stand idle in the hallways or where there are chances of unnecessary mixing with the brothers. Why is that needed when we have separate entrance for ourselves? The basic idea behind Hijaab is to avoid fitnah by reducing temptation and separating the genders.
“The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said to the women on his way out of the mosque when he saw men and women mixing together on their way home: ‘Give way (i.e., walk to the sides) as it is not appropriate for you to walk in the middle the road.’ Thereafter, women would walk so close to the wall that their dresses would get caught on it.” (Abu Dawood)
Hijaab is not just to cover ourselves it is also to conceal our sisters
Even though some sisters wear Hijaab themselves, they forget that they cannot talk about another sister and explains her beauty in front of their own husbands, brothers, etc. don’t forget, a part of Hijaab is to cover your fellow sister’s awrah as well.
The Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said: “No woman should mix with a woman and describe her to her husband so that it is as if he can see her.”  (Muslim)

Knowing Allah

Knowing Him through His Creation
When we see the great things that Allah(swt) created in this world, we know a great deal about Him:
We know that He is great, because He created the great and huge world that we see. We know that His knowledge is great, because He knows exactly what to do. We know that His mercy is great, because He takes care of us and all of His creation. We know that His kindness is great, because He is kind to us and everyone else. We know that His wisdom is great, because He does things in the best way.

Also, we learn a great deal about Allah(swt) from what He told us about Himself in the Qur'an, and from what the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) told us in his Hadiths.

These are the only two ways to learn about Allah properly. This is how we learn Allah's names and qualities. Allah(swt) is known by His excellent names and supreme qualities.

Among Allah's names that we know, there are ninety nine that have a special importance. We should learn as many of them as possible in order to know our Lord better. Some of Allah's excellent names are given below:

Allah The only true God who deserves to be worshipped
Ar-Rabb The Lord;the One who owns and controls everything
Ar-Rahman The most Merciful
Ar-Raheem The One who gives mercy to those who deserve it
Al-Malik The true King
Al-Musawwir The One who forms all things and makes their shapes
Al-Aleem The One who knows everything
Al-Baseer The One who sees everything
As-Samee The One who hears everything
Al-Wadood The loving
As-SamadThe One that everyone needs and He needs none

Allah's qualities are most magnificent. Each of Allah's excellent names has a meaning and tells of one of Allah's qualities. Allah also has other qualities that do not come from His names. They, all of His qualities should be taken from the Qur'an or true Hadeeths. Allah knows about Himself more than anyone else. He is the only one who knows His qualities and is able to tell them to us.
Some of Allah's supreme qualities are below:

Hating sins and disbelief
Loving all that is good
Severe punishment
Forgiveness
Knowledge
Greatness
Kindness
Highness
Wisdom
Hearing
Justice

When we read or learn Allah's qualities, we should always remember that they are not like the qualities of the people or other things that He created. Allah created everything. And His creation does not look like Him. Allah created food and drink, which we need to remain alive. But He does not need any food or drink. He(swt) says: "Say: Should I take other than Allah as my protector? He is the Creator of the Heavens and earth. He feeds others, but He is not fed." The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 6, Verse 14
Allah does not need a wife, child or helper to take care of us and the rest of the creation. He is most powerful and can do all of this alone. He says: "He is Allah, the One. The Self sufficient Master , whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks. He begets not nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equal or comparable to Him." The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 112, Verses 1-4
So we believe that Allah is most Great and Powerful, that His qualities are the greatest and most supreme, and that they are not like the qualities of His creation. "Nothing is like Him, and He is the Hearing and the Seeing." The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 42, Verse 11

  • Knowing the names and qualities of our Great Lord helps us to know Him better, and teaches us how to deal with Him in the most proper way.

  • Knowing Allah's names and qualities helps us understand His greatness and power over all things. This shows us how weak we are and how much we need Him.

  • Knowing Allah's names and qualities teaches us what He wants from us: what pleases Him and what angers Him. So we learn how to please Him, and how not to anger him.

  • Knowing Allah's names and qualities teaches us about His great rewards and His painful punishment. So we learn what to expect from Him when we are good. And we learn what punishment the bad people should expect as well.

  • Knowing Allah's names and qualities helps us call on Him with respect and politeness. We call on Him with His excellent names, because we must be very polite when we call on our Lord.

  • We need to learn Allah's names in order to deserve entering paradise.

With true belief in Allah, we can live a good and happy life, love good for others, and hate envy, lying, selfishness, and other bad qualities. We must have this true belief in Allah and teach it to others.
The knowledge about Allah is so simple and obvious. It is obvious for those whose eyes are not blinded and whose hearts are not locked. It is very surprising that many people do not know this!

    • They do not know that Allah is their Creator and Master!
    • They do not know that Allah has created them from nothing!
    • They do not know that Allah takes care of them and gives them life, health, and food!
    • They do not know that they need to worship Allah alone!
    • They do not know why they were created, why they live, and where will they go after death!
The people who do not know these things spend their life between eating and drinking, sleeping and waking up, and running after worthless pleasures and evil desires. They are very selfish. They do not do any good in this life - except for their own pleasure.
Allah tells us about this kind of people in the second half of the following Ayah: "Allah will surely admit those who believe and do good into gardens through which the rivers flow. And as for those who reject belief, they enjoy themselves now, and eat like the animals, but the Hell-fire will be their permanent home." The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 47, Verse 12
Those people cause evil and harm in the world because they do not know good from evil. They do not know what angers Allah or what pleases Him. They cannot follow a guide, because they do not know their Guide - Allah. Many people on earth are like this. They keep away from Allah's teachings and guidance, and they do not do what Allah tells them. They are kuffar or disbelievers. May Allah save us from being like them.
